The Details: FORUM/DC 2017
This Friday marks our final hiring conference of the 2017 season, FORUM/DC. It's been a whirlwind few months since we kicked off our events in late January with our Diversity FORUM, and despite the work and coordination we put into each event, it's always bittersweet when we reach the final one.
If you're attending FORUM/DC this Friday, April 7, here's a breakdown of what you need to know:
1. The details:
Location- Renaissance Dupont Circle Hotel – 1143 New Hampshire Ave NW, Washington, D.C.
Friday, April 7
7:00 a.m.- Candidate and school registration opens
8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.- Interviews
2. Log into the D.C. conference module.
Whether you’re a school or a candidate, you need to log at some point before the conference. It's important that you're aware of your schedule for the day, and that you make any changes to it in advance. If you decide not to attend after all, we do need to know so we can adjust the schedules of everyone affected. Please communicate to your Placement Team (or use the emergency phone number) any changes in your attendance.
3. What should you bring?
For both schools and candidates, we recommend bringing a laptop or tablet to access the conference module (and a charger!) or to use in between interviews. Schools have access to candidate resumes, but candidates can bring a few extra copies, too, if they’d like. Other than that, just bring a positive attitude!
4. Attend our Q&A panel.
We'll be hosting a special Q&A session during the event. Bring your most burning job search questions–about interviews, resume writing, campus visits, or anything else you can think of–and our panel of experts will answer them.
The panel will take place in the Potomac Room.
