Allison Stiles
Allison is a Consultant with the Search & Consulting Group.
Previous Experience
Experienced in search work, Allison first served on the Search Committee for the Director of the Preschool at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church in Atlanta. As Board Chair at The Preschool, she helped navigate a successful leadership transition, managed curriculum and organizational adjustments, led a by-laws update, and oversaw the creation of a new fundraising committee. Since joining Carney Sandoe, Allison has continued her work in search, developing an expertise in head of school and key administrative searches.
Prior to joining Carney, Sandoe & Associates, Allison enjoyed a successful career as an attorney with a focus in non-profit leadership, project development, fundraising, and litigation. At Atlanta Legal Aid Society, Allison developed a federally funded pro bono legal services program and represented clients in education, housing, and public benefits matters. She currently serves on the Atlanta Legal Aid Society Advisory Board.
Before working in public interest law, Allison was an associate at Goodwin Procter LLP in Boston specializing in civil litigation for large companies and individual clients. She served as a law clerk in the United States District Court for the Western District of North Carolina.
Education & Interests
Allison received a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law. She and her husband have three children attending the Westminster Schools in Atlanta, where she enjoys volunteering and coaching Girls on the Run.
