Introducing Carney Connections
You asked…and we're excited to answer!
Since 2015, we have been hosting our annual FORUM/Diversity in Philadelphia. The event was created to provide a forum where educators could benefit from workshops committed to themes of equity and inclusion in schools, and to allow job seekers from underrepresented communities the chance to meet hiring contacts for a day of faculty recruitment interviews. The event has grown and now spans two days, providing even more opportunities for professional development and interviews between candidates and schools.
We continue to receive interest from schools on the West Coast for an event closer to where they are based. So, we are happy to introduce Carney Connections!
Carney Connections is a one-day professional development event focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programming relevant to schools and educators. This inaugural event will feature the same rich DEI workshops, dynamic speakers, and opportunities to learn as FORUM/Diversity, in a smaller setting and led by expert school leaders and diversity practitioners.
Take a look at the full schedule, sessions, and speakers here.
Join us on Thursday, March 5 before our FORUM/San Francisco hiring event for this free event! Learn more and register today. Both job seekers and school representatives are welcome to attend.
