How Does CS&A Help Me Find Me a Job?

Step 1. Fill out our online application. The free application asks you questions about your work history, education background, and job type preferences, which we use to get to know you and understand if we’ll be a good resource for your search. Our Placement Team will review your application and you’ll be notified shortly of your status with us.

Step 2. Work one-on-one with your Placement Team. If you’re accepted as a candidate, your dedicated Team presents you with curated positions at schools that match your specific needs and requirements. We do the hard searching work for you! They also serve as your advocate throughout the entire personalized process, ensuring they find you a job that is a great fit. What Are The Qualifications?

More and more independent schools are building out their DEI staff, and we encourage you to apply for candidacy if your qualifications include:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field (social science, psychology, African diaspora history, education, etc.)
• Demonstrated leadership in the area of diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice
• Experience with children, particularly in an independent, private, boarding, college preparatory, or similar K-12 school setting
• Strong references that convey your abilities, connection with students, and mastery of DEI programming, policy, and initiatives
• A willingness to contribute the hiring school’s community outside of the classroom, such as coaching sports, advising extracurricular activities, supervising a dorm, etc.
