John graduated from Wellesley High School in Massachusetts, then from Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH, with a B.A. in German Culture Studies and Middlebury College with an M.A. in German. John completed additional studies at Phillips Academy in Andover, MA, (Summer Session) and Johannes Gutenberg Universitat (Mainz, Germany).
John taught German and History, coached soccer and swimming, and served as the International Student Advisor at The Hun School of Princeton in Princeton, NJ. While in Germany with Middlebury Program, he played semi-professional soccer for Mainz ‘05 and taught English as a Second Language through the Berlitz School. John worked for a test prep software company in Princeton and as a Compliance Officer on the Bill Bradley for President campaign.
John joined CS&A in the Summer of 2000 and has been the Director of Placement since 2002. He is married to Elizabeth Pratt, and is the father of Sebastian and Sophie.
